prOH!mote, PHASE 1!!

We here at Oi, Hayaku! are perhaps more devious than you’d think. I’m discovering more and more that my fellow OH! authors and I are incredibly entertainment oriented. Besides entertainment and prettys, I’m also disturbingly obsessed with promoting my blogging fellows around the web. I mean hell, we have a “PIMP” position, typed in all caps. We also have a link up there on our navbar labeled “Promote”. What could that be all about?

Well, aside from the typical blogrolling/link exchange/whoring, I’ve come up with a crazy promotional “competition” for anyone who’d like to pimp OH! a bit and get super-pimped back. By super-pimped, I mean to the point that people might as well be reading your blog and ours at the same time. That’s how badly you’re going to be pimped in the OH! universe.

As always, most details are on lock until appropriate times, but here’s what you can do to qualify for participation:

Step 1: Get Yourself on The Blogroll!

Here’s how the OH! blogroll is going to work:

There will be 4 levels on the blogroll. What you do to promote OH!, how much we like your stuff, and the level of “♥” we have for you determines which level you achieve.

Level 1: OH!sociates - We’re engaged in a handshaking link-exchange, and that’s about it. You get your name in link format.

Level 2: amOH!re - You pimped us in a post, linked to us in an image, whatever…you did something to show your love for OH! beyond the normal link exchange. You get your name in link format, a ♥, and a description of your site.

Level 3: OH!riginal Gangstas - Haha, we love you to death, and then love you back to life. Either you’re a kickass friend, an above and beyond pimper, or your site is just plain off-the-chain! You get your name in link format, a ♥, a description of your site, and an image too.

Level 4: champiOH!n - You my friend, are the current winner of the prOH!mote contest. You get everything above, and a bunch of other secret stuff that I will disclose at a later date.

So what are you waiting for? A link exchange only takes seconds of your time and is all you need to qualify for the prOH!mote competitions. Let me know that you’re showing your love in a comment below, just in case I lose you somewhere in mah blog stats. And if you go above and beyond the link exchange, be sure to mention that too!

    Oh, by the way, stop calling otou-san traitorous and the like. It gives us this whole “Anakin >> Darth Vader, OH! is the dark side” impression. I think we like it too much.

    I’m not sure Kono-Sono had quite the impact you think (regular updates lasted less than a year), although Os did have a good run with his spinoff blog.
